Meet in Public Campus Spots
Always meet in high-traffic, well-lit areas. Good spots include the University Center, Library Lobby, or inside academic buildings during the day.
Inspect Before You Pay
Take your time to check the item thoroughly. If it's electronics, turn it on and test it. If it's clothing, check for stains or tears. Don't feel pressured to buy if the item isn't what you expected.
Secure Payments
We recommend standard digital payments like Venmo or Zelle at the time of exchange. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash. Never transfer money before meeting in person.
Trust Your Instincts
If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. If a user is acting aggressive, weird, or making you uncomfortable, walk away. You are never obligated to complete a transaction.
